THIS IS BIM:
BUILDING, INFORMATION, MODELLING.
As part of our BIM modelling, we combine all of a project's geometric data with our technical information, such as performance data, volumes, masses and costs. In this way, the 3D model becomes the basis for detailed, subject-specific answers about the entire planning process. Thus, BIM offers the decisive advantage: end-to-end, consistent solutions within our entire team. At the same time, it creates a reliable basis for all other parties involved in the construction.
From our BIM model, we derive traditional geometric data such as site plan data, floor plans, sections and views, as well as specialist information on the architecture, supporting structure and building equipment. The associated volumes and masses, costs and deadlines are also available for the construction site management or project managers. With this consistent data basis, time and cost plans can be created more easily, earlier and more precisely. Risks are recognised in good time. Complete checks are possible. Redundant activities and trade conflicts are avoided.
RECORDING
This applies not only to model planning in 3D, but in the first instance to information, technology and organisational requirements. Ideally represented by the client's request for information. Everything that might be relevant to a project is recorded here, from scope, priorities, data delivery services and process requirements to management.
LINKING
This is followed by meaningful linking of the BIM goals, easy access and exchange of information among those involved. The BIM processing plan provides all the answers here. In addition to providing general project information, it specifies the schedules, quality assurance and model structures.
INTERPRETING
BIM offers us maximum creative leeway for individual customers' skills. A BIM model provides us and all those involved with precisely the views and information that are required throughout the process. BIM, our expertise and many years of experience – the perfect combination!
THE BENEFITS OF BIM.
BIM doesn't just mean “colourful” images – BIM has digitally revolutionised the construction industry.
